Disrupting Service and Manufacturing Models since 2016
What motivates your company?
We are motivated by our customers. Each customer has a story — whether that be a woman making and packaging small-batch allergen-free cookies, or a sock company packaging up unique socks to send across the states. These stories, paired with our desire to become partners with our customers, motivates us daily.
Tell us about your location.
We’re located in a 20 sq. ft facility in Gwinnett county a suburb of Atlanta. Easy access to I-85 makes our location convenient for our employees, and customers visiting our production facility.
Tell us a bit about your customers.
Most of our customers are small to medium-sized businesses, many of which are in the consumer-packaged goods space. Our customers make and package anything from organic and natural foods to jerky, to confectionery, to baked goods, to frozen foods, to snack foods. We also have customers who package more specialized products like clothing, seeds or lawn-related products, and beauty products.
Share the history of your company.
ePac was founded in 2016, with a charter to serve small and medium-size businesses. Our goal was to provide a solution for brands that couldn’t get packaging because of the required large minimum orders and slow turnaround time. With our digital printers and local plants, we now help small and medium-sized brands get packaging quickly, at a lower cost, and in smaller quantities. Our first plant was in Madison, Wisconsin, and we now have multiple locations around the U.S., including Georgia.
How are you involved with your customers and community?
We are very involved with our customers. Our relationship begins from the time we start working together and continues once their packaging is in their hands. Our goal is to serve our customers and our community, and the way we do that is by becoming a partner, rather than another vendor. Our customers’ success is our success.
Tell us about your employees.
We have a wide array of employees from a variety of different backgrounds, which makes for a really great workplace. The nature of our work — digital technology and manufacturing combined — attracts a vast group of educated and motivated people. We’re very proud of our team!
What makes you excited to work here?
We’re the first all-digital printing flexible packaging company in North America. We offer something different to the market place. Many of our customers have been forced to purchase their packaging offshore, now we offer a way for them to bring that business back in the states and even better with a local Georgia company.
What do you like about your community and location?
The diversity of Gwinnett’s citizens. We have many customers who are in the county, plus we have a strong Chamber of Commerce.
How do you embody Authentic Georgia?
Our mission at ePac is to serve our customers and our communities. We’re lucky to serve our Georgia-based customers and help their businesses grow by providing them with digitally printed, professional packaging. Their success is our success!
What makes Georgia so special and unique?
Georgia has this unique balance between southern charm and progressive ideas. We’re a growing state – a place that people want to be a part of.
